BEHIND THE BIKE | RIDER ETIQUETTE
THE CULTURE RULE
Behind The Bike is built on respect for the room, the ride, and each other.
No ego, judgment, or negative energy.
We all ride together.
SHOW UP PRESENT
This is a 30 to 45-minute escape from everything outside these doors. We ask that you come ready to ride, stay focused, and stay engaged from start to finish.
PHONES OFF THE BIKE
This is a phone-free ride environment. If you bring your phone into the studio, it must be silenced and put away for the duration of class. This space is designed to disconnect you from distractions and reconnect you to the ride.
RESPECT THE ENERGY IN THE ROOM
Every bike in the warehouse is part of the experience. We encourage you to ride where you feel most comfortable, but be mindful that:
Conversations should be kept outside the workout
Movement and distractions can affect others
Front and side positions are highly visible.
WE RIDE IN CLOSE QUARTERS
This is a high-energy, close-knit environment. We sweat together, so come prepared. Please be mindful of personal hygiene and arrive ready to ride in close proximity with others.
LATE ARRIVALS
Once class begins, the doors will close. If you are late, you will not be permitted to enter. Please arrive early enough to get settled and ready before the ride starts.
MOVING IN AND OUT OF CLASS
We ask that movement during class is kept to a minimum. If you need to leave early or step out:
Do so as discreetly as possible
Avoid re-entering unless necessary
Follow staff direction when applicable
Respect the flow of the room.
FOOD & DRINK
No food is allowed in the studio. Water only. This keeps the space clean, safe, and focused on performance.
FILMED RIDES
Some classes may be filmed or photographed for Behind The Bike content and marketing. By attending, you acknowledge you may appear in media content. We recommend staying present and riding as you normally would.
THE BTB STANDARD
This is not a gym floor or a formal spin class. It’s a shared warehouse ride built on sound, movement, and community energy. Respect the space. Respect the ride. Respect each other.
